Lee Chun-soo

Lee Chun -soo ( born July 9, 1981 in Incheon ) is a South Korean football player.

Lee Chun -soo began his career in South Korea in Ulsan Tigers. At the World Championships 2002 he drew attention to himself. Real Sociedad signed him and he was becoming the first South Korean in the Primera División. However, he could not sit down and after a short stint at CD Numancia he returned to South Korea back to Ulsan Tigers. In the summer of 2006, he turned down an offer of Portsmouth. In early September 2007, he then moved for an estimated transfer fee of 2 million euros for Dutch club Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Lee Chun -soo was one of the key players in the national team during the World Championships in 2002 and 2006 and at the Olympic Games 2004. 2002 he published a book about the World Cup, in which he criticized, among others, Guus Hiddink for his vulgar language and several teammates.
