Lee Naylor (athlete)

Lee Michelle Naylor ( born January 26, 1971 in Shepparton ) is a former Australian athlete, who specialized in the 400 -meter run and was an international success, especially as a relay runner.

At the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 they won the 4 x 400 meters relay together with Renée Poetschka, Melinda Gainsford -Taylor and Cathy Freeman the bronze medal behind the teams in the United States and Russia. In addition, she succeeded at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, along with Susan Andrews, Tamsyn Lewis and Tania Van Heer the title win in the season. At the World Athletics Championships in 1999 in Seville, they came with the season in sixth place.

In addition, Naylor took part twice in the Olympic Games. Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000, it reached the 400 -meter run, respectively, the quarter-final round. With the season they failed and in 1996 in the first round, 2000, she was not used.

Lee Naylor is 1,66 m tall and had a competition weight of 58 kg. At the University of Melbourne she completed her doctorate in neurochemistry.
