Lee Stempniak

Lee Stempniak ( born February 4, 1983 in West Seneca, New York ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since March 2014 at the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.83 m tall striker played for Dartmouth College in the Eastern College Athletic Conference, a college league in the NCAA before he was selected by the Blues in the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 as a 148 player in the fifth round.

Even in his rookie season of 2005 /06 was the right shooter in addition to its operations at the Peoria Rivermen, an AHL farm team the Blues, 57 times for St. Louis in the NHL on the ice, scoring 14 goals with 13 assists.

2007 Stempniak was nominated for the taking place in the framework program of the NHL All-Star Game Young Stars game in which he ran aground on the team in the Western Conference.

November 24, 2008 Stempniak was transferred to Alexander Steen and Carlo Colaiacovo to the Toronto Maple Leafs. On 3 March 2010 he was given in exchange for Matt Jones and two elective rights for the NHL Entry Draft in 2010 to the Phoenix Coyotes. In August 2011, he went in exchange for Daymond Langkow to the Center of the Calgary Flames. This transferred him on March 5, 2014 again in exchange for a third-round vote in the NHL Entry Draft in 2014 to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
