Leeroy Stagger

Leeroy Stagger (born 28 October 1982) is a Canadian alternative country singer-songwriter.

Growing up in rural British Columbia, Leeroy Stagger first played in several local bands before artists such as Hot Hot Heat and Carolyn Mark were aware of him. In 2002, Leeroy Stagger stood on their own feet with the publication of his debut EP Six Tales of Danger.

Stagger toured opening for The Pixies, Modest Mouse and Evan Dando. In addition, he worked with Kathleen Edwards and Danny Michel.

In November 2007, Leeroy Stagger toured for the first time in Germany before he returned in the fall of 2008 on a tour through Ireland, England, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in a trio with the band Easton Stagger Phillips.

In April 2009, published Leeroy Stagger his CD Everything Is Real, which appeared at the same time both on his own label Rebeltone Records as well at Blue Rose Records. The record deal with Blue Rose Records is Staggers first record deal outside of Canada / USA.

Followed in 2010 on the same label of Leeroy Stagger & The Wildflowers album Little Victories.

From the 2009 European tour was released in January 2011 by Blue Rose Records, the official double live album Live at the Red River Saloon. It contains a full concert with 20 songs from Leeroy Stagger with the band The Wildflowers, recorded without overdubs in the Red River Saloon in Heidelberg.

His latest work is called Radiant country, published the same label in February 2012.
