Leford Green
Leford Green (born 14 November 1986) is a Jamaican athlete who specializes in the 400-meter and 400 - meter hurdles.
Career
2007 Green went to at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka for the Jamaican 4 x 400 - meter relay and came in the finals along with Michael Blackwood, Ricardo Chambers and Sanjay Ayre with a time of 3:00,76 minutes in fourth place. In 2010 he was master of Jamaican over 400 hurdles. The Central American and Caribbean Athletics Championships 2011 in Mayaguez (Puerto Rico), he won with a time of 49.03 seconds in the 400 -meter gold hurdles and a bronze medal with the Jamaican 4 x 400 meters relay.
At the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu Green came on the 400 -meter hurdles does not go beyond the semi-finals, where he came in fourth place with a time of 49.29 seconds. For the Jamaican 4 x 400 - meter relay team, he started in the finals along with Allodin Fothergill, Jermaine Gonzales, Riker Hylton and and won with a time of 3:00,10 minutes the bronze medal.
At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, he reached the final run over 400 meters hurdles and finished there with a time of 49.12 seconds in seventh place.
