The Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica (Spanish Asamblea Legislativa de Costa Rica) is the national parliament in the Republic of Costa Rica.

The parliament is formed by a single-chamber system. Each 57 members are elected in proportional representation for four years in Parliament.

The Parliament is located in the Edificio Central in downtown San Jose.

The next elections are scheduled to take place in February 2014.

There is compulsory from the age of 18.
