Lei (garland)

As Lei ( hawaiian, pl. Nā Lei Lei or ) refers to the usual in Hawaii necklace made of flowers ( eg orchids), seeds, feathers, or other materials. In earlier times, even animal teeth or human hair were used.

Upstanding people ( alii ) and guests are honored with power, even on festive occasions to wear this jewelry in Hawaii. In addition to these formal occasions and personal performance are also part of an exotic greeting on arrival or at tourist events for tourists.
