Lei Tai

The term Lei Tai ( Chinese:擂台; pinyin: Lei Tai) is derived from the Chinese language and means " fight Tribune ".

This fight had grandstand at the edge for fixings, was up to 2.5 meters high and approximately 10m x 10m in size. Almost every major city had one of these stands. Then events took place with martial arts demonstrations and competitions, which you can then also known as Lei Tai. These battles were also those in which the death of one or both competitors was considered acceptable. This had been agreed contractually in advance in accordance with the participants.
