The main output led by a staircase. The station was too small for the number of travelers. In addition, the traffic in front of the station drove past. Today's Train Station

The station building by architect Harry Reijnders is the fourth and opened in 1996. It is composed of a white truss structure. A characteristic feature of the entrance is a white shell. At the opening of a large space for the sale of tickets has been established. With the advent of ticket machines in the station hall and the attitude of the international ticket selling the hall was largely unused. There is a large bus station where many lines meet at the front of the train station. In addition to the bus station there is a taxi bridge with a bicycle parking underneath. All this was realized, because the station Plein tunnel was opened for traffic in 1997. Thus, there was much more space at the front of the train station and there is now also a train station. On the seaward side there is a monitored bicycle parking for 2,000 bicycles.
