Leiguarda
Leiguarda ( Asturian Lleiguarda ) is a Parroquia and a place in the municipality of Belmonte de Miranda of the autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. The 148 inhabitants ( 2011) living in an area of 14.15 km ². Belmonte, the administrative center of the municipality is to reach beyond the " AS -227 " in 10.20 km.
The region around Leiguarda was already developed in Roman times, as proven by the remains of a fortress as well as gold mines from the Roman period around Antoñana.
