Leikanger Church (Herøy)

The Leikanger kyrkje is a church in the Norwegian municipality Herøy Fylke in Møre og Romsdal. The built wooden church has an octagonal floor plan and was originally built in 1807 in Sjøholt in the community Ørskog. In 1872 the church was dismantled and re-erected at Leikong on the island Gurskøya in the community Herøy. The Leikanger kyrkje belongs kyrkje belonging to the parish gleichnen Herøy and Indre Herøy kyrkje to the Norwegian State Church. The Diocese of Møre belonging Leikanger kyrkje has 380 seats.
