Leikanger

Leikanger is a commune in the Norwegian province of Sogn og Fjordane. It is located in the Sognefjord, and is bordered to the west by Balestrand in the north to Sogndal and on the opposite side of the fjord is Vik.

Structures

Since 1955, crosses an overhead line with a span of 4850 m east of Leikanger the Sognefjord. She had to construction of the overhead line crossing the Ameralik Fjord, the longest cable span at all. Two more overhead line crossings east of the above have also rope spans of over 4 kilometers.
