Leila Aman

Leila Aman (born 24 November 1977, in the province of Arsi ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

In 2002, she finished seventh at the World Cross Country Championships. In the same year she put on her best times in the 10 - km road race ( 32:28 ) and in the half marathon ( 1:11:10 ).

In 2004 she won the Dubai Marathon, where she was previously came second in the year, as well as the Prague Marathon and placed in fifth at the Berlin Marathon with a 2:27:54 personal best at.
