Leila Hatami
Leila Hatami (Persian لیلا حاتمی; born October 1, 1972 in Tehran ) is an Iranian actress. She is the daughter of director Ali Hatami and actress Zari Khoshkam.
Life and career
After graduating from high school Hatami attended the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ( EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. There she studied electrical engineering, joined after two years but to French Literature.
In 1984, she appeared in the film Kamalolmolk with. After her return from Switzerland, she received in the film Leila her first starring role for which she was awarded Best Actress at the 15th Fajr Film Festival in Tehran, the Medal of Honor.
During the filming, she met her counterpart Ali Mosaffa, whom she married in 1999 and with which they have a son ( born February 2007) and a daughter (* October 2008) has.
