Leimbach (Wehre)

The Leimbach is a right-side or eastern tributary of the weirs and runs entirely on the territory of the municipality Wehretal in the Werra- Meißner -Kreis ( Hesse, Germany ).

The source is located south of the Blue dome in the nature reserve Blue hilltop at an altitude of about 288 meters. The flow direction is south-west as far as Long Grove. There, the Leimbach pans to in northwestern direction towards Reichensachsen and flows on the western outskirts of the weirs. Here he overcomes a height difference of 90 meters and flows for a distance of 3.7 kilometers.
