Leivonmäki

Leivonmäki [ lɛi̯vɔnmæki ] is a place and a former municipality in Finland. It is south of the landscape of Central Finland at the state road 4, about 50 kilometers south of the city of Jyväskylä.

The community Leivonmäki was incorporated in early 2008 in Joutsa. It included beside the eponymous capital of the villages Etu - Ikola, Havumäki, Kivisuo, Lapinkylä, Martinkylä, Rutalahti, Savenaho, Selänpohja and Taka- Ikola. She had an area of ​​410 square kilometers and last just under 1,200 inhabitants. In the former municipality is located 29 km ² Leivonmäki National Park. Leivonmäki maintained since 1990 a partnership with Haaslava (Estonia).
