Lelling

Lelling ( German: Lellingen ) is a commune with 507 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Forbach and Canton Grostenquin.

Geography

The village is located in the northeast of Lorraine, about five kilometers south of Saint- Avold.

History

The place was first mentioned in 1275 as Lellinga.
