Lemp (Dill)

The Lemp is almost 12 km long left tributary of Dill in the Lahn- Dill-Kreis, Hesse means. It forms below their Quellaufes a natural border between the Hörre (northwest) and the Krofdorf King Forst (east ), both sub - natural areas of Gladenbacher mountain country.

Course

The source of the Lemp is located in the municipality Hohenahr, about 2 km south-southwest of Great Altenstädten and over 2 km west-southwest of Hohensolms. From there, the river first flows in a westerly direction through a forest in the west north of Krofdorf - Konigsberg Forst and reached the district of Asslar.

From leaving the forest in Oberlemp where flowing into it from the right stream of Bermoll, the Lemp forms to its mouth, the natural spatial boundary to the right side Hörre.
