Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth

Lena Adel Liljeroth (born 24 November 1955 Spånga ) is a Swedish politician of the Moderate samlingspartiet.

She was active at the age of 15 years for the party and was elected to the Stockholm City Council in 1998. Since 2002 she is a Member of the Swedish Parliament and sat among other things, the Culture Committee 2002-2006 and served as a backup of the Economic Committee 2002-2003 and Social Committee 2003-2006. On 24 October 2006 she was appointed Minister of Cultural Affairs in the government of Fredrik Reinfeldt and followed Cecilia Stegö Chilo in office.
