Lena is a municipality ( with a status of "Village" ) in Stephenson County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, Lena had 2912 inhabitants.

Geography

Lena is in the northwest of the Stephenson County predominantly in West Point Township and to a lesser extent in the Erin and the Kent Township. The town is located at 42 ° 22'46 " north latitude and 89 ° 49'20 " west longitude and extending over 5 km ². The border with Wisconsin is located 15.3 km north, the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa, is located 50 km to the west.
