Lenine Raion
The Lenine Raion (Ukrainian Ленінський район / rayon Leninskiy; Russian Ленинский район / Leninsky raion, Crimean Tatar Yedi Quyu rayonı ) is a Ukrainian raion in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He has an overall population of about 69000 inhabitants and has an area of 2919 km ². It includes a city, two settlements of urban type, 64 villages and one settlement which are organized into 24 district municipalities.
Geography
The Rajon lies to the east of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, it is bordered on the north by the Sea of Azov, on the east by the Strait of Kerch, on the south by the Black Sea, to the south by the town of Feodosiya and to the west by Rajon Kirowske.
