Lennard Sowah

Lennard Adjetey Sowah (born 23 August 1992 in Hamburg ) is a German footballer of Ghanaian descent. His preferred position is the left side defense.

Career

Clubs

Sowah began his career at SC Urania Hamburg and played in the 2006/07 season for FC St. Pauli. For the season 2007/ 08 he moved to Arsenal, but left the club after a year and moved to Portsmouth. On 3 April 2010 he made ​​his debut in the first team of FC Portsmouth, when he came off the bench in the game against Blackburn Rovers. In July 2010, he moved to Hamburg, where he received a contract until 2013. There he played in the seasons 2010/11 and 2011/ 12 in the second team.

During the winter break of 2011/12 Sowah was until end of season loaned to FC Millwall. After his contract expires, he left the club after the 2012/13 season.
