Lennart Heimer

Lennart Heimer ( born March 11, 1930 in Ostersund, Sweden, † 12 March, 2007 Trevilians, Virginia ) was a Swedish- American neurosurgeon and author. He developed new concepts about the organization of the human brain. Heimer taught since 1972 at the University of Virginia neuroanatomy. He was the author of numerous textbooks and instructional videos for medical students.
