Lennart Johansson (ice hockey)

Rolf Lennart " tigers " Johansson ( born June 7, 1941 in Sundsvall, † October 23, 2010 in Gävle) was a Swedish ice hockey player and coach.

Career

Lennart Johansson began his career as a hockey player with the Wifsta / Östrands IF, for the first team, he was from 1960 to 1962 in Division 1, the then highest Swedish league, active. Then, the center played ten years for their league rivals Brynäs IF. With Brynäs he won the national championship in 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1971 and 1972.

Johansson was repeatedly served as head coach for his hometown club Brynäs IF and was with this in the season 1979/80 for a total eighth time in his career masterpiece.

Internationally

For Sweden, Johansson took part in the Olympic Winter Games in 1964 in Innsbruck, where he won the silver medal with his team. He himself prepared in the tournament in seven games by one goal.
