Lennart Petrell
Lennart Petrell ( born April 13, 1984 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the Genève -Servette HC in the NLA since 2013.
Career
Lennart Petrell started his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of HIFK Helsinki for the first team to 2011 he was active from 2003 in the SM- liiga, the top Finnish league. His greatest success with the team was winning the Finnish championship title in the season 2010/11. For this success, he was the main contributor in the playoffs, when he was in 13 games twelve points scorer, seven goals scored.
For the 2011/12 season Petrell has been committed by the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.
Internationally
For Finland Petrell took part in the junior level only at the U20 Junior World Championship 2004, where he won the bronze medal with his team. In the senior level, he stood in the years 2008, 2009 and 2011 in the squad of his country at the Euro Hockey Tour.
