Lennie James

Lennie James ( born October 11, 1965 in London, England ) is a British actor and screenwriter.

Life

Private life

As Lennie James was twelve years old, died in his Trinidadian mother, Phyllis Mary James. He and his older brother were then in a children's home, from which he retired with 16 to a social worker. He has for years along with Giselle Glasman and the couple have three children.

Career

Actually, Lennie James wanted to be a rugby player, he got into acting by accident when he accompanied a friend to an audition. Due to his great talent, he attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and made his degree in 1988. After that, he was acting and began in 1990 to write screenplays. His drama Storm Damage was broadcast by the BBC in 2000 and won the 2001 Royal Television Society Award.
