Lentua

The Lentua is a lake in the Finnish countryside of Kainuu.

He is with an area of ​​77.84 km ² one of the few large lakes in Kainuu. The lake lies at an altitude of 167.9 m. Its catchment area covers 2045 km ². The main tributary is the outflow of the northern lake Iivantiira. The Lentua flows out through the rapids to the south Lentuankoski Lammasjärvi. The water flows from there over the lakes and Ontojärvi Oulujärvi and the Oulujoki flow to the Gulf of Bothnia.

The place is located a few kilometers south of the Kuhmo Lentua.
