Leó Forgács

Leó Forgáčs ( Leo Fleischmann, born October 5, 1881 in Budapest, † August 17 1930 in Berettyóújfalu ) was a Hungarian chess player.

Leó Forgáčs won the Hungarian Chess Championship in 1907. Between 1905 and 1913 he took part in numerous international tournaments, after which he retired from tournament chess. His best historical Elo rating was 2681 in April 1908 that he was number 9 in the world rankings.
