Leon Hougaard Andreasen ( born April 23, 1983 in Aidt Thorsø ) is a Danish football player, who is currently 96 projects under contract at the Bundesliga Hannover.

Clubs

Beginnings in Denmark

Andreasen began playing in 1993 at the age of ten years with mutton GF football and joined in November 1999 in the youth department of Aarhus GF. In 2001 he was appointed to the senior squad of the club and was immediately regulars. He played in four seasons, 105 games and scored 17 goals.

Inconsistent first years in the Bundesliga

2005 Andreasen moved to Germany for Werder Bremen and signed a contract until 30 June 2009. By joining overseas he hoped a career boost. However, he could not prevail against the strong competition in the midfield, which is why he was loaned to second half of the season 2006/ 07 on the first FSV Mainz 05 to play matches. In Mainz, the combative and prolific Andreasen was immediately starting players in the central midfield. He scored four goals and had two assists in 15 games; Mainz were relegated from the Bundesliga. At the end of the season ended his loan and he returned to Bremen.

Unsuccessful Intermezzo at Fulham FC

During the winter break of the season 2007/ 08 Andreasen moved to FC Fulham in which he signed a three and a half year contract until 30 June 2011. However, he could not prevail at the London club and completed before the winter break 2008/ 09 19 games.

Andreasen at Hannover 96

A year later, Andreasen returned to Bundesliga Hannover 96, where he signed on 31 January 2009 contract until 30 June 2012. During the rest of the season he came eleven times used. A year later, a series of injuries threw back again and again; Round 21 until he ran back up at the Lower Saxony. Two months later began to suffer a groin problem that the rest of this season and the complete seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12 cost him. National

On March 24, 2007 Andreasen debuted during a friendly match against Spain in the Danish national team. On June 2, 2007 with the 3-3 equalizer he scored in the qualifying match for Euro 2008 against Sweden 's first goal. The game was however canceled after a space storm and evaluated in retrospect 3-0 for Sweden. So Leon Andreasen could not qualify for the finals with the Danes.
