Leon Hart

Leon Hart ( born November 2, 1928 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, † 24 September 2002 in South Bend, Indiana) was an American football player. He played as an end for the University of Notre Dame. Hart won the 1949 Heisman Trophy. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1973. Hart died at the age of 73 years.

In 1949 he was awarded the Sportsman of the Year Award from the Associated Press.
