Leon Haslam

Leon Haslam ( born May 31, 1983 in Smalley, Derbyshire, England ) is a British motorcycle racer.

He is the son of Ron Haslam, who was himself a motorcycle racer and in his career, among others, was Formula TT world champion twice, and once was able to win the Isle of Man TT.

Leon Haslam launches since 2009 permanently in the Superbike World Championship. Initially he joined Stiggy Racing Honda team for the at, 2010, he launched Team Suzuki Alstare for the Suzuki factory team and won three victories and a total of 14 podium finishes runner-up behind Max Biaggi.

For the 2011 season Haslam moved to the BMW factory team where he will go to the side of the two -time world champion Troy Corser at the start.
