Leon Winiarski

Léon Winiarski (* 1865, † 1915) was a Polish sociologist and social economist.

Léon Winiarski was a student of Vilfredo Pareto. In 1886 he studied at the Warsaw University. Later he studied in Paris and London. From 1894 to 1900 he taught Social mechanics / movement at the University of Geneva. In this time he wrote three books of theoretical sociology and economics. In 1903 he was a professor of finance and statistics at the University of Lausanne.
