Leonard Byrd

Leonard Byrd ( born March 17, 1975 in Fort Rocker, Alabama ) is a former American sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

The supposedly greatest success of his career was winning the U.S. 4 x 400 -meter relay at the IAAF 2001 World Championships in Edmonton. Leonard Byrd, Antonio Pettigrew, Angelo Taylor and Derrick Brew referenced in 2:57,54 min, the seasons of the Bahamas and Jamaica from the courts. 2008, however, the Americans lost their medals because Antonio Pettigrew doping was demonstrated.

At Leonard Byrds best international single results over 400 m include the third places at the Goodwill Games in 2001 and the IAAF Grand Prix Final in 2002 and reaching the semi-finals at the World Championships in 2001.
