Leonardo Express

Leonardo Express is the brand name of a train of Trenitalia. The train runs without intermediate stops between Rome Fiumicino Airport and Roma Termini railway station in downtown Rome.

History

The Leonardo Express was introduced simultaneously with the opening of the branch line to the airport on 27 May 1990. The name arises from the nickname of the airport, Leonardo da Vinci.
