Leonhard Kleber

Leonhard Kleber (* 1495 in Göppingen, † March 4, 1556 ) was a German organist and composer of the Renaissance.

Life

Adhesives studied in Heidelberg in 1512 and was a pupil of the blind, then a very famous composer Arnolt Schlick. After his studies, he first worked in Horb am Neckar, then in Esslingen and ultimately in Pforzheim. In his compositions combines influences from Paul Hofhaimer, Hayne van Ghizeghem, Heinrich Isaac, Josquin Desprez, Jacob Obrecht, Antoine Brumel, Heinrich Finck, Ludwig Senfl, Hans Buchner and some other show. Most of his works are attributable to vocal music.
