Leonid Agutin

Leonid Nikolayevich Agutin (Russian Леонид Николаевич Агутин; * July 16, 1968 in Moscow ) is a Russian singer and musician. His music style is Russian pop music with jazz and Latin American elements. To date, he has sold over 10 million albums.

Biography

Leonid Agutin was born on 16 July 1968 in Moscow. His father, Nikolai Petrovich Agutin was also a singer, his mother a primary school teacher. During his youth Agutin played the piano and graduated from the Moscow School of Jazz Moskworetschje ( Москворечье ). After his military service, he enrolled at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts ( Московский государственный университет культуры и искусств ), where he made his degree in 1992.
