Leontius of Jerusalem

Leontius of Byzantium (* Konstantin in Opel ) was a Byzantine theologian who lived in the 6th century AD and worked.

About his life is not much known. It is known that he lived in his early years in a Nestorian church. Many other facts are not always to be regarded as sure as his name was often confused with other and thus several different biographies for were held. Therefore also the exact extent of his works is not known, some of his works shall be regarded as assured.
