Leopold Wohlrab

Leopold Wohlrab ( born March 22, 1913 † 5 January 1981) was an Austrian handball player.

Leopold Wohlrab came on three bets at the 1936 Olympic Games; He also played in the final, in which Austria was defeated by the German team with 6:10 and won the silver medal. In February 1938, the first World Cup was held in handball, with Denmark, Germany, Austria and Sweden took part at the four teams. Wohlrab defeated Austria with the German team with 4:5, again won the Austrians the silver medal.

After the Anschluss Austria was unable to attend the discharged in July 1938 the first World Cup in the field handball. Leopold Wohlrab was the only Austrian players from the Olympic team in 1936, which with the German team participated in the World Cup 1938; the German team won superior to the title.
