The Leppinsee is southeast of the Müritz lying in the lake district lake district Mecklenburg Lake District, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is located in the east of the municipality of Rechlin on the border to the municipality Roggentin. Their district Schiller village is located near the lake.
