Leptines

Leptines (Greek Λεπτίνης ) was an Athenian statesman, the BC had no small reputation in the first half of the 4th century.

He advised in the year 369 to an alliance with Sparta and hit 356 against a law that should the Ateleia, the exemption from taxes for the state decrease. The orator Demosthenes resigned a year later with the speech against Leptines against this law and was successful - the law was shot down.
