Les Horribles Cernettes

Les Horribles Cernettes [ lezɔʁiblə sɛ ʁnɛt ː ] (French The horrible CERN girls) are a parody pop music group that referred to themselves as the only high-energy rock band. She's like the Large Hadron Collider LHC stands.

The song lyrics are about physics or the facilities of CERN, they are available on the Group's website.

The group was founded by a secretary of CERN, who sang of the difficulties of a relationship with a physicist.

The group was supplied by Silvano de Gennaro, an analyst in the computer department of CERN with more songs. With appearances at various conferences physicist awareness of the group grew and she also appeared at the ceremony to award the Nobel Prize to Georges Charpak.

According to Silvano de Gennaro, the images of the group were the first photos of the WWW in general, and the group of the first with its own home page.
