Les Mayfield grew up in New Jersey and turned at the age of 14 years, his first 8 mm films. In 1982 he completed his studies at the Film Faculty of the University of Southern California. Then founded Mayfield with ZM Productions his own production company, which he henceforth staged background videos to feature films such as Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Back to the Future and The Empire of the Sun and produced. His directorial debut was in 1992 with the comedy film Encino Man. He then staged with The Miracle of Manhattan and Flubber, and he produced with Heavenly siblings and Annabelle's greatest desire remakes of well-known Hollywood films.
