Les Sources Regional County Municipality

Les Sources is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the Estrie administrative region and consists of seven subordinate administrative units (two cities, four towns and a Canton community). The MRC was founded on 1 January 1982 as MRC L'Or Blanc. In August 1990, the name was changed to MRC Asbestos. Finally, the regional county municipality got its present name in April 2006. The main town is Asbestos. The population is 14,489 and the area of ​​785.6 km ², representing a population density of 18.4 inhabitants per km ².
