Lesley-Anne Down

Lesley- Anne Down ( born March 17, 1954 in London) is a British actress and former fashion model.

Career

At the age of ten she began modeling and acting. In 1970 she was elected to Britain's most beautiful teenage model. As an actress she became acquainted with the role in the British series The house in Eaton Place, which she played from 1973 to 1975. Then they enlarged their fame with films like Inspector Clouseau - The best man with Interpol and Hanover Street, where she played alongside Harrison Ford. The best known, however, it was as Madeline Main in the TV miniseries North and South. She also appeared in 1990 in the television series Dallas, the role of Stephanie Rogers and from 2003 to 2012, Jacqueline Payne Marone in the soap opera Bold and the Beautiful.

Private

In the 70s she was ten years in a relationship with the actor and director Bruce Robinson, her first husband was from 1980 to 1981 but Enrique Gabriel. Her second marriage she led from 1982 to 1985 with the renowned director William Friedkin ( French Connection, The Exorcist ), with which she witnessed her first son (1982). Since 1985 she has been married to the cameraman and director Don E. FauntLeRoy. From this marriage comes to her second son, who was born 1998.
