Leslie Harvey

Leslie Cameron Harvey, called Les Harvey (* September 13, 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland, † May 3, 1972 in Swansea, Wales) was a Scottish rock guitarist and co-founder of the band Stone the Crows.


Leslie Harvey played 16 years in the band of his older brother, Alex Harvey. In 1969 he founded with Maggie Bell, the group Stone the Crows.

On May 3, 1972 Leslie Harvey died of an electric shock he had sustained in rehearsals for a gig in Swansea from an ungrounded microphone.
