Leslie Hope

Leslie Hope ( born May 6, 1965 in Halifax, Nova Scotia ) is a Canadian actress.

Biography

At age 13, Hope wanted to go to " Harvard Law School " and become a lawyer. However, since her father was in the military, the family moved around, including to Italy. Hope stayed in a boarding school in the United States to complete her Vorhochschulstudium. There, she changed her career plans and concentrated on acting. When her school was used shortly thereafter as a location for a film, she got her first role. After Hope John Cassavetes had met, this helped her to gain a larger role in the film " Love Streams ". After the end of filming Hope remained in Los Angeles and worked in various areas of Cassavetes ' film company to learn as much as possible about film productions. She then played with Matt Dillon in "Kansas", as well as in David Beairds "It Takes Two" and Oliver Stone's " Talk Radio ."

During her stay in Los Angeles Leslie Hope called its own theater group, " The Wilton Project " to life, which she led for 10 years. With this project, Hope tried to create new plays. In parallel with the theater group, she continued to work as an actress, producer and director in various productions.

Especially known Leslie Hope was with her role as Teri Bauer in the television series "24". She also played Dr. House in the episode " Last Search " from the first season a minor role.
