Leslie Lemke

Leslie Lemke ( born January 31, 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is a blind American musician and composer.

Leslie Lemke came in 1952 in Wisconsin as born prematurely and suffered from the outset cerebral palsy and glaucoma, whereupon his eyes were removed. He was released from his birth mother for adoption and adopted by the nurse May Lemke. In his childhood he fell on the ability to fully render calls. At the age of fourteen years his adoptive mother found him in the middle of the night at the piano as he played a piece once heard from television. She promoted then his island talent, because despite his severe disability, he is able to flawlessly re-enact a once -heard piece of music on the piano. In addition to its ability to enact about 1,000 songs from memory, he composes music itself. His ability he exhibited at the gigs and concerts in the U.S. and outside the test.

His adoptive mother died May Lemke on November 6, 1993 at the Alzheimer 's disease.
