Lesmo

Lesmo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 8294 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. The community is located approximately 8 kilometers north-east of Monza and about 22 kilometers north- northeast of Milan east of the Lambro at Parco della Valle del Lambro. The community is directly adjacent to the province of Lecco.

History

A municipal solid has already been demonstrated for the first century BC. The settlement may be called Ledesmunus or Ledexismunus.

Economy and Transport

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha here has a location for racing. The nearby Monza, was in favor decisive. On the railway line Monza - Molteno is a breakpoint with the neighboring community Biassono ( Biassono - Lesmo Parco ). A spatially separate breakpoint also is on the railway line Seregno Ponte San Pietro.
