Lesmurdie-Falls-Nationalpark

The Lesmurdie Falls National Park (English Lesmurdie Falls National Park ) is one of only 56 hectares of National Park 22 km east of Perth in Western Australia, Australia.

The small stream Lesmurdie Brook flows here in a 50 m high waterfall of the high natural ridges of the Darling Scarp in the coastal plain (Swan Coastal Plain ). Especially in the winter lets rain water amounts increase significantly.

From the National Park there is a good view over Perth and the coastal barrier island Rottnest Iceland.

In the steep rocky terrain thrives a heath landscape with islands of Marri, Jarrah and Wandoowald.
