The Loti, plural: Maloti, is the currency of Lesotho. 1 Loti 100 Lisente, singular: Sente. The ISO code is LSL. The name comes from the word Loti leloti for "mountain" in the Sesotho language.

There are banknotes in denominations of 200, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5 Maloti ( formerly 2 Maloti ). Coins exist to the value of 5 and 2 Maloti, 1 Loti, 50, 25, 10 and 5 Lisente. The older one - and two - Sente Lisente coins no longer occur in circulation.

The currency is pegged to the South African Rand in a 1:1 ratio.
